My solution was a bit more ghetto than that.
Bathroom sealant around the upturned rim on the car body that slots into the underside seal in the ecu box. Dry as a bone ever since.
Interesting enough mine first manifested as an EPC fault in the throttle control.
The water was running down...
I had this in my car. It wasnt the ecu box cover that was leaking it was the bottom of the ecu box where it fixed / sealed to the car. the seal had perished around the bottom rim.
Hi all,
Am getting the check engine light and then the following error code upon scanning with vagcom

Thanks. I'll drop revo an email tomorrow to ask about there different stage maps.
My total hardware will be forge tip, test pipe and the injectors. I may fit a piper panel filter yet. I've already replaced the DV with the updated oem one.
Re the revo comparison, suggestion is the revo is quite aggressive with the apr smooth. I'm not after a big kick in the back, just a bit more shove.
Re sports cat. I'm ditching the cat altogether and going for a test pipe.
Thanks
Well I've sent my ecu number to APR so they can check there database to see if my car is mappable by them. The 190 engine does show up on the apr Australia website so I am still hopeful.
Although it looks like the bex 190 engine already has updated injectors compared to the lower bhp models so...
Hmmm, so they don't do the bex. Shame, I did question them why the website only had one variation of the 1.8t on it for the B6. Looks like I'll be going to someone else then.
I got the injectors off eBay using the part no for a TT225, they were £70 for 4. Getting them cleaned, tested and...
Rtech are too far away plus I want switchable maps.
Stage two is the limit of the turbo / intercoolers an the apr map. After that its front mount, new turbo and lots of ££££££'s
Had my A4 for just over a year now. Have been actively renewing and doing general maintenance to make sure that when I wanted up the power a bit it was going to be a reliable base.
Now I've been researching recaps for a while and have decided on APR for two reasons, switchable maps and the...
Boolers, haven't heard that word for a while lol.
You'll get good traction in the Quattro in icy and snowy condition but will still suffer the same reduction in braking and handling as everyone else on summer tyres.
What engine? 1.8t
I've also put the part number as the thread title.
Not tried tps, think there's one not too far from me. Thought they were trade only?
Where to get one?
I've priced one up at audi and they want £100.
I've found a pattern part replacement online for £45 but not sure of the quality.
There's a used one on eBay for £25 but I may as well keep mine on than buy a used one.
Any other suggestions where I could find an oem...
Some guys on the US forums run them but they are defo only for the saloon.
I had the chance of a cheap set from on here. Couldn't find out for certain from online suppliers if they would be suitable. Ended up emailing tein customer services.
