hello, just used my roof for the first time this year, and it's bust! I'm just charging up the laptop and hunting down my vag com cable and will plug it in later! But in the meantime thought I'd see if anyone had any ideas? putting the roof back it seems fine at first, the top lock latches...

hi all, was just wondering if the milltek cat-back exhaust sounds any good on the 3.0 v6? as i think the standard system sounds a bit tinny, and fancy a bit of a deeper note! or does anyone know of any other exhausts that are any good? cheers! :)

yes i agree! .. before i stripped the lamp, i did read a few posts on the chrome coming off, so i was careful not to damage the surface, good idea with the foil! ... i work on cars with xenons everyday, but i have never seen a problem such as this, like you say they probably are the original...

Ahh I've seen that thread before, that's what got me stripping the light down, the reflector is slightly burned, but not much to make a massive difference!

Hello! since I have had my a4 cab (not long) the Xenons have been poor brightness to say the least! ... Think it must be the bulbs that are old/worn? I've never seen a problem like this before though, in my experience the ballast failing causes igniting faults and flickering, and bulbs go...

Just checked, and getting it booked in! They said "yes sir the ignition coil recall is outstanding on your vehicle, feel free to book it in free of charge!" just annoyed cause I had to buy one over the weekend!

Sorted! Got some time to mess about with vagcom and found it to be cylinder 6 coil, went into measuring blocks and found cylinder 6 doing nothing at all, constant misfire!

Just driving about, and the eml light started flashing, with a bad misfire.. I had put fuel in two miles prior (which I guarantee was correct fuel, but may be dodgy?) i plugged in vcds hoping to find a coil or something, but all that is there is p17550 load calculation cross check, lower...

i just got 420 miles on my 3.0 v6 ... generally get around 360 - 400 ish ... would have thought the 1.8t would do a lot better than that!

my headlamps are quite hazy on the front lenses, what is best to do? can they be brought up nice, or is it simply new headlamps? it looks like a layer on the lens has actually melted away, i do have some spare lamps in the same condition, which i will probably have a practice on first, maybe wet...
