OK to up date. i just bypassed the slipring and the driver side code cleared. So i think that is just the slip ring.
Now i just need to sort the pas side.
What part number should i have for the pas side airbag?
I saw one on ebay for my car but it had a diff number to the one i have in there...
Yeah i think its the dash and the steering wheel, with the bat unplugsed i downloaded the wirring diagram for the airbag system and tesed for ressistance from ther controll unit plug to the airbag plug and both sets of wires are fine.
I got 1.5 on pas side and 6.8 on drivers side.
Dose anyone...

* You know your an S4 owner when you DIM doesn't work but you don't mind because now you can't see what MPG your doing

But is it a twin? They are the same size but they do both feed in to the same TB then the air is seperated in to all 6 cylinders.
So its not 1 turbo for each side of the V, it's 2 turbos for all 6 cylinders at the same time.
My S4 was spot on in the snow/ice today, i loaded up my trailor with two trials bikes and a mate and we went off up some small tracks up a hill. Came across a guy in a golf who said we cant go up the road its to ice and no one has made it, so when he pulled over i just drove past him and off up...
My aerial snapped off the other day so I'm looking to replace it and like the look of the shark fin style.
Were can i get one that will be a straight swap, there are a few on ebay but i don't want to have to buy connectors or file out the hole.
I've had remapped cars and the mpg is OK but as said above the harder you drive the less the mpg.
As for parts, as long as your services are up together and with that mileage it should be fine unless your doing track days every weekend and redlining it every were.
