Looks standard ride height to me. Here's my old B5 with 18's and Eibach 25mm lowered springs I'd say yours looks a little higher. To answer your question about the spring colour, standard springs are usually black but then again so are Eibach springs but aftermarket springs are whatever...

There is a vacuum valve mounted on the underside of the hard plastic turbo pipe which runs around the back of the engine, it should run to that. Should sort the boost issues, my old B5 1.9 AHU had a boost problem and it was this valve which was the problem.

Well seeing as my old B5 has moved on I can say for definite that I will have an A4 Tdi Quattro Sport Avant in ocean pearlesant blue, with 19" BBS LM reps and AP coilovers. It's been great!

If it's the same as the B6 then the door strips just literally pull off from the front and the dash strip is bolted on.

Agreed I've managed to blow a couple of turbos (escort rs turbo and a legacy turbo) and it's always been clouds of white smoke not blue.

My 2004 A4 1.9tdi is on 154000 but my previous B5 1.9tdi A4 was on 215000 miles when I sold it and it is still smoking about now so god knows what mileage it's on now.

My 90bhp 1.9tdi (fiitted with a tuning box) gives 45mpg pottering around town and when i'm on the motorway the best i've managed is 60mpg.
