I fitted mine to the top and they couldn`t get the alignment in so moved to the bottom and they got it set up ok. from what I remember 10 years ago now almost .........

Had this issue years ago had to remove the float and clean up the contacts on the level sender.

vid looks like clutch mine went at 74k but had been slipping slightly from 70k. mine used to show up on the motor way accelerating hard from 3k in 5th or 6th gear

duff alternator removed, cam belt and water pump replaced. New alternator tomorrow with a new belt and tensioner then put her back together and check to see if I have a power steering leak. then Holiday :)

Tie wrap wouldn`t hold when mine went, I also got the right tool to tighten up the hose clips they supply with the kit. The kit is very good new stretch bolt , boot grease and spacers / washers all for about £30 iirc tool is this http://www.kingtools.co.uk/product.php/site/froogle/sn/VS1635...

they supplied me with one off a Quattro , totally different fitment they tried 3 times and failed every time. fingers crossed for you also there is a special tool to clamp up the clip correctly which is v useful

i tried to get one off euro car parts and GSF and everyone they got was wrong, the Audi one wasn`t too bad a price imo for a full kit that just was right
