    My New MTM S3,

That's a cracking S3 you've got there, Phil! Glad you've sorted the little teething troubles that come with most cars, now you can go out and enjoy it. Love Frankie BTW, he's SOO cute, lol! xx

    It's a Skoda...honest.

Cool pic! The word 'Skoda' means 'shame' or 'pity' in Czech (pronounced shkoh-da). So when you say, 'it's a Skoda' as in the car, it means 'it's a shame'. It's a rather unfortunately named make of car, ..what a pity, lol. xx

    The S3 has gone...

I'm not surprised your S3 didn't stick around for very long, Dude. It was one of the nicest examples I've ever seen. All the best with your 8P, I loved my A3 TDi. Look forward to chatting with you over in the 8P section. xx

    Warning Lights HELP...

I also believe the ABS warning light can pop up when there is a problem with your battery (you'd think the battery light would come on, but this isn't always the case, strangely). Maybe if you do a lot of short runs and what with the weather starting to turn a bit colder, it could just be...

Ive changed my HID bulbs and now one takes a few goes to come on????

It will be the ballast, Paul. If it was the bulb, it probably wouldn't light up at all. The ballast is intermittently failing to ignite, so will probably need to be replaced at some point. Same thing happened to the HIDS DIRECT 6000K D2S kit I fitted in my last car, ..used to have to switch...

Removing HID bulbs - reverting to stock...

Lol, thought it might be the reason, Bud. :) Don't blame you for wanting everything to be just right with your car. x

Removing HID bulbs - reverting to stock...

At the moment HID's are kind of a grey area as far as MOT's and the law is concerned. Some people with HID kits fitted (without washers and levelers) have been able to pass MOT's so long as the beam pattern isn't scattered all over the place, especially if the bulbs are fitted in projector...

Removing HID bulbs - reverting to stock...

I think the upcoming changes in the MOT regs may have something to do with the removal of the HID's TBH. If a car with HID's fitted doesn't have self leveling suspension and headlight washers after the new regs are brought in at the end of this year, it will be an MOT failure.

    Radio Code

They won't all retrieve the code for free unfortunately, you must have a very good and kind local dealer, ..wish they were all like that, lol! :)

Removing HID bulbs - reverting to stock...

Hey Bud, don't have an 8L, but yes you should be able just to remove all the HID kit bits without removing your lights, re-connect your factory wiring (from bulb holder to factory electrics) pop in a pair of new bulbs and get everything back to standard. You may also have to cover up any holes...

    Radio Code

I didn't get the code for my radio when I bought my car, so I found these guys, who I emailed and then paid £26 to via Paypal, gave them the serial number of my radio and the VIN of my car and they emailed me the code within minutes. Cheaper than Audi, plus I didn't have to take the radio to...
