Yes i think they are and i think they look awesome! Also I want 7.5 as you get so much more protection from curbs with 7.5 wheels and a 225 tyre. I have been looking for RC's but £600 for a knackered set without tyres is about right and i am not paying that for used wheels. i would rather...
Sorry i was referring to the loss of power thought the drivetrain comparing 4wd to 2wd, I realise now though that was not the question so i will get back in my corner.
I have always been told by people (supposedly) in the know that it is around 30%. That sit about right looking at the data above and my own experiences.
This is mine. I had full Bose and tried all the leads and adapters out there, but I could not live with the popping on start up and the frankly rubbish sound. So I upgraded all the speakers with alpine ones and ran them off the head unit, and then put an AndyMac sub and amp in the boot and now...
Just to clarify, HID - Xenon = same thing...
If you are talking aftermarket HID kit vrs standard Audi factory made and fitted I would go for the Audi. You can always change the bulbs in the Audi kit to a higher K rating (bulbs are D2S) if you like but remember that despite common thought, the...
He can't spell, full stop! Is the education in this country really that bad, that not only do we not teach people to spell but that they come from school so retarded that we are not telling them about spell checkers?
Had all mine replaced gratis 2 weeks ago, despite the car bein a 51 plate with 76k miles. They said if you have the orig packs and they have not been changed on the system they have to change them as it was a recall.
I am going down the 18x7.5 route in the shape of Inovit Tuning Tarmac Wheels, as they ar ET38 rateher 32 what size spacers will I need? Also does anyone know what a standard Avus 17" weighs? I want to check these new ones are lighter.
Thanks
Thing is I like the comfort offered with the 17", plus the cheaper tyres!! Also with 18" as you have said I would need to go 8 wide and I like being 7.5 wide with 225 tyres as it gives me more room for kerb errors!
I think I may stick with mine, they have just been refirb'd and look pretty ace...
Thanks, i do not want to go bigger than 17" for many reasons and I also meant in terms of ideal for the car rather than looks etc. The wheels I am looking at look great in 17" as do the current standard (refirb'd) wheels I have on.
As above really, looking for some new lightweight wheels and would like to get the best for the car. I would always err to them being the standard size unless anyone has any other thoughts? I like 17"s by the way.
