Whats your Favourite Car TV Show?

Top Gear is the only one I watch with any regularity, Wheeler Dealers occasionally because the short guy winds me up, although Ed is a legend and as nice a bloke in real life as he appears on screen. Ooh, and that Overhaulin' when I'm really bored, love his creations, just the rest of it that...

The start of the new Xbox gaming season begins

Xbox owner here, can't play FPS at all due to a non-conforming thumb (it never does what I tell it to!!). So for me any FPS fun has to be with a keyboard and mouse (old school CS player!). Currently playing Forza Horizon and F1 2012 on the xbox, Planetside 2 and Battlefield 3 on the laptop...

    Driving in the snow!!!

StateofPlay pretty much covered it, but I will add support for the winter tyres. To be honest I wouldn't worry too much on the make as even budget winter tyres will be better than most of the summer tyres we run in the UK. My missus runs Kumho's and they seem to work fine.

    Watches

I have a Bench watch, cost me £35. Tells the time perfectly. I once had a Breitling fake, best watch ever, lasted 6 years before I lost it and didn't lose the time at all, £40. :)

    R.I.P Sir Patrick Moore

RIP indeed. I met Patrick Moore 2 or 3 times when I was a nipper, when my mum used to drag me along to various astronomy meetings with a couple of friends. I can't remember much as it was a loooong time ago, but I do remember he recognised me after the first meeting and spent a long time...

    Keep fit/self defence

I use to do quite a bit when I was younger but haven't trained for many, many years now. Wing Chun kung fu was my favourite, not because it was good for self-defence, purely because I enjoyed it so much. I've recently been looking into starting training again and had a look at Krav Maga, but...

ROADS YOU JUST HAVE TO DRIVE ON!!!

None of the roads I really enjoy have the scenery shown above but I love the A343 between Newbury and Andover, as long as you get a clear run (which is difficult). A few villages to slow you down but it's reasonably twisty and up and down. I used to love the A272 from Winchester towards...

    It is ****** freezing!

-4.5 was the lowest it dropped on the way to work yesterday but didn't seem to get over -1 the entire day. Was quite warm when I left this morning, only -2!
