I've just covered my 535d with 3 years from Warranty First. It covers tons of parts including some wear and tear like suspension, bushes, and wheel bearings. They pay for the first £1000 of any claim and even cover consequential damage. So if a turbo goes and takes out the intercooler too both...
I'm hoping someone can help clear this up for as I don't think it's particularly clear. Myself and a friend have swapped cars. We both have personal plates that we now want to swap between the two vehicles. I have found the following form on the DVLA site which appears to be the correct one...
I've adjusted the gear lever and where it attaches to the cables. Ive watched the linkage on the box while a mate changed gear in the van and I can see it going into 4th as much as possible so I'm sure the issue is internal.
4th will go in but only at really low revs. I've read the bleeding guide for the clutch and it's a 2 stage afair which the garage may have not known about but I'd still have thought it would effect all gears.
Cheers Chez. I don't know the exact history all I know is that it was fine till it had a new clutch fitted 6 months ago. 4th gear kind of jumps out but to be honest it never really goes into gear so I can't really say that it jumps out. All other gears are fine except a slight grind on 2nd and...
I'm going to try bleeding the clutch before dropping the box.
Has anyone got any ideas as to how a clutch change can stop just 1 gear from being selected?
Ok I'm going to describe a problem I have with a vehicle and I'm after some suggestions. I don't want to give too much info yet as it might swing peoples suggestions.
Right so its a 5 speed box that when in neutral has no nasty noises. I can select all gears smoothly with the gear stick and by...
If it can be done on the 8L I'm sure it can be done on the 8P too.
The ESP button was always the first thing I pressed when I got in my car. Love the fact it's disabled now.
OFF all the way. TC on a mapped car tends to be even more sensitive due to the increased power output. I've coded my ESP so it's always off as it was just a pita.
I think some coppers just see a car that looks modded and then just want to take you to the cleaners. I've been pulled over on my own driveway before and told I was going too fast for the wet conditions and that a child might run out in between parked cars (during school hours). Anyway I PI this...
Yeah I saw it in my rear view mirror and could see it was a Cayenne but it just looked like it had a nasty ill fitting body kit on it. I was eyeing up its brakes though ;)
