    Google "Send to car"

There's quite a few threads on here about the loss of Google Earth, the introduction of a newer system and more recently the possible return of Google Earth to older cars. Loads of variables depending on type/age of MMI/vehicle, chipset etc, your best bet might be contacting Audi UK, I...

    Focus ST-3

I don't drive mine that often TBH but it's pretty good value - and fun, steering is really precise, like a go kart. Easy to spin it up on damp roads though and fuel consumption isn't great. My son likes them but the seats are probably a bit too tight for me, particularly as I'm nursing torn...

    Hid replacement bulb experiences...

Fitted a set of those Osram Lasers to my SQ5 (standard were pretty poor tbh) noticeable difference in brightness and range, not sure about the 200% claim right enough and for some reason the warranty's not as long as on their other bulbs.

    235/40/18 B7 Quattro tyre choice

Had a few sets on Michelin Pilot Sports on mine now, no complaints.

Top Gear New Series (Spoiler Alert!)

TG wasn't too bad IMO and agree it' a shame 'Joey' is leaving. Got Amazon now and tuned into S3 of the tour (first time I've seen any of it), all I can say is I marvelled at how dark Hammond's hair has got over the last few years ( almost as brown as May's teeth :wtf: - has he not got 'dental'...

Rsq3 to be px/sold what next?

GTs are big/heavy right enough and I wasn't particularly struck on them until I drove one. They reek of quality are comfy and very quick. Sound great as well. Drove a few Masi GTs, noise is the best part of the experience IMO - they are loud (still prefer the ww2 fighter bomber note of the...

Rsq3 to be px/sold what next?

Haven't owned any but I recently had a job delivering/collecting some nice motors including Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Maserati. Drove loads of different models but my favourite was the Bentley Continental. Lottery win would see me in a Supersports but GTs are brilliant as well and a lot...

    Wheel refurb done wrong???

Shouldn't really laugh but the exact same thing happened to me, except my wife admitted responsibility! Freshly powder coated gloss black alloys lasted 2 days, I used fine sandpaper and some airfix enamel as a 'temporary' repair, that was 2 years ago and I haven't had them fixed yet. When it's...

Sorry about that but I've done you a favour - honest :-)

    Your ideal 3 car garage.

LOL, probably better staying that way, about a year back I drove an old 911 turbo with the big arches (the poster boy) it was crabbing all over the place and pretty awful TBH, more recently an old 550 Maranello (might have been a 558), always loved the look of them but the clutch was crazy...

    Your ideal 3 car garage.

Bentley GT supersport. Lamborghini Urus. RS6 - need something sensible for lugging the caravan, unless the Urus has the towbar option then I'd swap the RS for a 911 Targa 4s:friendly wink:) Should have stuck in at school:grumpy:

    BEST SOUNDING DIESELS

They do, Levante as well, they're a bit meatier sounding than the Audi version.

    Is this a speed camera?

Looks like one of the residents has painted a bird box to try and slow folks down. Guessing there's no white lines on the road? IMO there's no way that's a speed camera.

    Airport vs Home Parking?

With the SQ5 I avoid shopping centre car parks at all costs - that's what the old A4's for - but I take it to the airport. Park it on the extremes of the terminal surface site and walk 5 mins. There's obviously risk either way but on balance I'm slightly happier leaving it there than leaving it...

Audi engineer leaks details of Level 6 autonomous vehicle

Yes, I know, that's why I just inferred it wasn't real but was trying not to spoil the joke:blow:

Audi engineer leaks details of Level 6 autonomous vehicle

If they had actually wanted it to look realistic they would have 'installed' about 20 potholes.

Old car vs new...which is better....2008 Merc S class vs 2014 Fiesta

Fiesta will be better for pedestrian safety - hence the 5 stars, in a head on at the same speed Merc, will have about twice the momentum as well as a much stronger safety cell, you'll open the door and walk away shaken, possibly stirred, he'll be sharing the boot with his engine.

    Car thefts up by 30%......

LOL, not sure if you're agreeing with me or disagreeing :-) Statistics don't lie? Interesting premise, but it's just a throwaway quote (attributed to Disraeli I believe) which I used tongue in cheek. The data they have may show a 30% increase but how reliable is their data? You're right...

    Car thefts up by 30%......

I don't know if it's a UK wide phenomenon -probably is- but in Scotland the police got really quite sneaky with their stats a few years back. In the old days if someone broke into your house and piled your 24" widescreen and VHS recorder into the back of your XR3i it was 2 crimes, ie one theft...

Channel 4 news - VAG emissions update

Watching it just now, about time this hit the mainstream news, worth a watch if you've got one of the infected, particularly if you've had the 'fix'.
