Hi Pav911, What year/model avant is it that you're enquiring about?

First tank is almost empty at 434 miles, averaging around 39mpg which i’m happy with. Best i’ve seen is 48mpg on a motorway run. Yes, the Xenon’s were a must for me - the LED’s look great and the light is far superior from the Xenons in the dark.

I agree with you - piano black trim is on the WTB list.

Yes after cleaning off I think the motor & gear is okay. It may be the ‘worm’ that it engages with but I think after a clean and a regrease it should glide a bit better.

@spartacus 68 - Removed the motor to have a look, it appears the gear has been slipping. I think that it might just be too much resistance from the old grease thats making it hard for the motor - does the gear look excessivley worn to you?
