Hi I've just used the same set up (check out the thread) and managed to remove nearly all the marks I had and leave the bonnet with a glass like feel.
What color is yours I can't c the pics on my phone I too used the junkman techniques with slow overlapping passes
So after buying the das 6 pro i was a bit scared at first using it, but watched hrs of junkman vids on utube and read a few other post's i set about it.
started with the pre rinse then snow foam followed with the 2 bucket method then iron x and tar remover another rince then onto the g3 clay...
So thought i best sort the garage out before i start, 2 days emptying of crap (cant believe all the shiit you keep lol)
day and half painting and sorting lighting out then stocking up on products, best not tell the missus how much has been spent
here's a few pics.
Yeah thanks for the input gone and got the pro £15 off with the grp buy on clean your car just enter DAS6GROUPBUY on checkout will post results when iv'e had a go hexlogic pads and meguiars 105 &205
will a water sprayer be fine with these or do you have to use a special detaling spray, in the vid with the first pass sounds like he's rubbing sand paper over the car:uhm:
So is it worth getting a das6 or pro to remove scratches and swirling or are you just best leaving it to the experts looking to invest in one of these but just weighing up the pros and cons
So iv'e found a scratch on the rear bumber grrr wasn't there last week about 40 mm long 3mm wide just used a touch up kit on it looks ok but noticeable when looking. would it be wise to use a compound polish to try blend it in or is there another method any help guys
