Not so much an over kill - it will give you better durability in theory but some people don't deem it as necessary, its all down to personal preference I suppose. And as Luke said, if your going to do it make sure you apply your sealant first. Get some pics up when your done as well fella...

I would get some Black hole in there before sealant/wax as it works wonders on black cars. Is there any reason your using sealant and a wax?

You see that pic above to me looks like the leather is caked in conditioner and is making it shiny? Unless it is the lighting on that pic. Didn't that leather start out in life looking like this?

I would say that is a little steap for x2 mirror caps painting! Why don't you buy some second hand ones from ebay or scrap yard and paint they your self for a fraction of the price? Jonny.

Need to be careful hear as depends what type of leather you have. A lot of automotive leather is actually coated with like a lacquer and that's what gives it that matte/matt effect/look. If you start banging all this conditioner and what not on top of this it will just block it up and dirt will...

I personally use: G3 Detox. A strong bucket of washing up liquid/APC will also assist in removing any wax. Jonny.

Adcooper as well as paint to harden, the clear coat needs time to "gas off" i would leave it a week or so before applying any sealants/wax's on them.

Need to ensure the wheel sealant/wax you are going to apply is not going to affect the matt/satin finish (Y)
