My 2018 SQ5 had the handbook and nothing else. All the info you describe is in the myAudi App these days. I think it’s called progress...

As others have said the ‘Frankenstein’ touch screen bodge from the A4 looks borderline unusable on the move. The only way I can see this as just about OK is using Apple Car-play.
All the other bits of the facelift look good, brings the Q5 into line with the Q3 and Q7/8 family.

FYI Invoice for 2nd year service on my (now sold) SQ5 was £400 inc VAT and ~£60 of this was for a brake fluid change. Didn’t cost me a penny as it was on the service plan costing me £280/year. All done at Chingford Audi in North East London.

Now sold for just under £40k on the last day of June.
Sad that my SQ5 ownership experience was only 2 years and not as many miles as I planned.
I won’t be replacing the SQ5 for a while as car needs have changed. I suspect my next car purchase down the road will be something electric...
The SQ5 has a 3 litre engine, and so by definition it’s not over 3 litres. My dealer (Chingford Audi) were happy to give me a quote for a service plan back in May ‘18, maybe your dealer wanted to get some of that discount back at service time...

I got a service plan with my 2018 SQ5. I’m low mileage so I got cover for 5k miles per year (4 year 20k total) for £23/month. I am on annual fixed date servicing so this gives me 2 oil change and 2 oil change + inspection services. 2nd year service booked for next week. £276/year is not cheap...
Prestige Performance Yorkshire offered me £40k if I gave them the car in February. I’m around till June/July and need a car till May so I will see if I can get around this price in a couple of months.
That is a nice discount on the X3 M40i, how are you enjoying your BMW experience?

I need to shift the car within the next 3-4 months. Spec for spec I couldn’t find an example with the low mileage and warranty that mine has and so we’ll see if anyone fancies it :)

I had an A1 courtesy car with the new touch screen infotainment screen. As you say it looks smart but not as easy to use on the go as the MMI dial.
The new Q3 is very smart, if it was out when I picked up my SQ5 it would have run it close!

This update matches what was done on the A4/S4 which I didn’t like as the screen position is a bodge. A8/A6/Q3/Q8 layout is much more in line with touchscreen only. Like others here I don’t see why the multiple inputs supported by BMW couldn’t be mirrored by VAG. However the lure of cheaper...
I’m not a mechanic so take these as guesses. Simple one is check your tyre pressures are even, next level maybe tracking is off, though that would impact steering all the time, not just over bumps...
On second thoughts just ignore me and hope an expert responds!

I had a hunch this move away from fully customised cars was due to WLTP testing rules, but I’m starting to think that economics are also at play. For years other car makers have had the low/medium/high spec packs with little or no customisation and using WLTP as an excuse Audi have gone down the...
I had the same failure on my 2018 SQ5 in the summer. Sorry I didn’t see this thread till today. I was driving home late at night and my dashboard lit up like a Christmas Tree warning that both my rear light clusters had died. As you say I didn’t realise that the bumper has a fully functional set...
Always cheaper to get fixed yourself than rolling the dice on paying the repair fees from the lease provider. Find the best Audi/BMW/Merc approved bodyshop you can get to affordably and get them to sort the bumps and scrapes.

Pages 37/38 from UK Manual
This turns off all the convenience key functions apart from being able to lock the car by touching a door handle.

Sorry if this is a dumb question... With the pro-cut/skimmed disc being thinner than the original, does this cause any issues?
