I think you need to get vagcom to check out your problems it will tell you via fault codes or live diagnostic data what you car is doing and what you can do to fix it, how much oil do you put in the engine at the end of the week and what does it read on the dip stick? Have you had a compression...
Had this also on my a6 checked all sensors and vagcom throttle body came up as a fault adjusted the throttle cable as there was a bit of play and now runs sweet.
