    Btw., when i open the door and press the turn signal lever, the usual signal is audible. I believe this to be a sign that the ecu is not damaged or am i wrong with my assumption?

    Thanks for your reply Conza! I already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery to no avail. Hopefully, the ecu has not been damaged, would be a nightmare getting a new one quickly were i live (Kosovo/Balkans). Will check all connections again tomorrow.
