1.6l Enginer Problems (randomly cuts out)

Thanks, yeah before the light came on it was in the garage and had the fuel pump relay and crankshaft sensor replaced so I'm hoping it's just going to be a connection to the oxygen sensor or the sensor itself that's broken.

How to change the gear knob/stick & gator.

I remember reading in another thread that if you want the new alloy gear knob in the 8v your best to get the one out of an A1. Can't remember the reasoning or thread!

    Water leak!

Nope, it was only a small patch on the rear footwell. The headlining, seats and boot are all dry. The window seals seem fine too. Despite the heavy rain last night, it's dry now.

    Water leak!

Had a quick look at them... I think. Are they the three holes in the bottom of each door? If so two were cover by a metal plate but the other was clear.

    Water leak!

So after washing the car today, climbed in the back to give the carpets a Hoover and noticed a wet patch on the rear carpet behind the passenger side. Is this a common problem and any ideas where it could be coming from? Rear washer jet works fine. Just had its MOT and no reports of rust...

    Arm rest fixing bolt

Finally managed to get myself an armrest at a reasonable price, however it doesn't come with the fixing nut. Anyone know if a normal M8 30mm bolt and nut will do the job or will it come loose?
