Hi mate, apologies I got the price a bit wrong. It was actually £115 for the wing (sprayed) but i'm positive they had a deal on for two. The seller was carparts-express on ebay. They only appear to be selling LH wings at the minute but maybe you could give them a shout, they might have more but...
Theres a company on ebay that will supply brand new wings (patterned) and spray them to match your car. You send off your towing eye cover or whatever you like and they'll match it. Think mine cost about 80/90 quid. Good service and a good match too. Will see if I can get them on my ebay history...
The German bomber took a hit during a recent trip through Normandy and lost a bit. Didn't fancy the 400 mile drive home without it so botched this together.
Is that something you made up yourself Greeny? I imagine with just one pipe it'd be quite boomy. Certainly looks the part and sounds pretty good to me. What diameter pipe have you used?
Thanks guys, your input is appreciated. My issue is that I have no welding/pipe bending skills so its not the sort of thing I could just knock up then adjust as I feel like it. That being said, I've mentioned to one of my mates who has a welder that i'd like to try to build an exhaust and he's...
Thanks for that Karl. Suppose I could always just keep the cat and standard pipe for MOT time. WIthout the boxes i'll get a fair cloud of soot out the back on hard acceleration won't I?
Just done a little bit of digging. The S.Line/Sport and GMBH bumpers are the same thing which is what I've got. The Votex is a different kit. So no, ours aren't the same.
Umm... not quite. Yours is an aftermarket bumper right? Mines the standard bumper you get on the avant sport with the cupra splitter added. Main difference I can see is mine has a slightly more pronounced lip at the bottom of the bumper.
After hearing Bastets exhaust, i'm wondering if I can do anything with mine to sound a little less like a clattery diesel apart from the obvious of buying a petrol Avant. His is the 2.5TDI, mines the 1.9 (130). Just wondering what I could do and still meet emissions? I'm not even sure how many...
Thats odd Bastet... from the noise, you almost wouldn't know it was a diesel. I was listening on my phone though so might sound completely different through a proper speaker.
Got my tracking sorted following fitment of my coilovers and wheels at the weekend. Every flipping bolt had welded itself into position. My mechanic mate was a very unhappy camper when he gave the keys back to me. Thanks salty air!
There's less weights in my gym to be honest but you can't see them so not really bothered. I expected them to weigh half a ton each but they're surprisingly light which is great. Have redone the ride height now so off out for a blast!
Haha, not sure I could deal with having to use scaff boards for the rest of my time at this house. The wheels do go well. They're reps though, could never justify affording proper bbs wheels so the offset is only 35. A set of spacers will sort that out in no time!
