Posting on behalf on a friend Car is a 2013 2.0 tdi 177bhp, just experiencing issues with the car cutting out and the glow plug & engine light showing If he turns off the start/stop feature it doesn't happen Anyone have any ideas what it could be before it gets on a diagnostic machine? TIA Dan

Considered it, but I'm more than happy with the standard power, I've come from a 380bhp S3 to this, i love how smooth it is, quite chilled out when driving it, so the extra power would be wasted on me

Well its got me mega puzzled, it all stemmed from shorting the puddle light out with my screwdriver, i started pulling fuses one by one, to find all fuses were ok, turned ignition on, needles swept and puddle light was back working again

Can anyone settle the mystery for me? I just upgraded to S4 b8.5 from S3 8v, the S3 had needle sweep on ignition as standard I could swear that when i got the S4 it didn't needle sweep,as it was on of the things i wanted turning on via vagcom, are they meant to as standard? Ive only noticed...

That advice he's given you is terrible, im pretty sure they have to provide a suitable earth. Anyhow if you go for rods, lift a floorboard near the consumer unit and bang them in from there, saves messing up your drive and routing a cable through the house

Thats incorrect, the max permissible value for a TNS system is 0.80 ohms, 0.35 is for a TNCS system(which he currently doesn't have) 2.49 ohms is high and would suggest a loose connection somewhere, your electrician has done the correct thing by informing you, by any chance is your house...

Apologies if this has been done before, just couldn't find it ! Just changed my S3 for S4, the S3 had interior LED pack as standard, however the S4 seems to have a mis match of different lamps In the interior lights, glovebox light, puddle lights ,it looks like standard lamps, in the footwells...

i have S3 8V pre facelift and it has the 12v socket in rear along with rear seat storage compartment(which holds a hi-vis vest) one difference i notice from them pics is the indicator and wiper stalks are different
