Mine just sits in place. The back tucks under the rubber seal. There’s something on the rs4 for the front to clip on to I believe but no need unless you’re going to be driving at speed with the bonnet open. May be a few other things to worry about if that’s the case [emoji1787]

This should fit just fine.
I have the 19x9 et33 running 235/35/19 tyres. Running michelin ps4s which have a nice lip protecting the rim and dont look too stretched

Yeah I’d just put normal bulbs in if I were you.
I think they’re worth it for the boat trailer as the whole light unit gets submerged at the ramp and might last longer

What do you mean by effective?
I’d just installed a new waterproof sealed set of leds on the boat trailer so just did this to make them work. They worked fine when hooked up to my Hilux. Normal bulbs would be fine if I didn’t already have the led set installed

Here’s a couple pics. I just basically got 6 resistors 21w12v to mimic normal bulbs and put them in line on each positive wire. Married all the negatives together and glued them into a sealed aluminium box on the trailer. There was enough slack in my trailer wiring so I didn’t have re-run any of it
You don’t have LEDs on the trailer do you? When I hooked up my boat trailer after installing towbar the lights were doing all sorts of weird things. I thought I’d messed something up with the wiring but was just the LEDs on the trailer not drawing enough juice. Resistors on every light sorted it out
I’ll put a vote in for the bilstein b16s. Pss9. I’ve had mine in for 6+ years and they’re awesome. Having the adjustment for damping is handy, I firm the rears right up when towing the boat etc. takes 5 seconds

Look up Joey mod. You should find plenty of info including diy. Seriously though, if I were you I’d still consider getting some bi Xenons!

Here’s a good comparison of the daytime look. Big difference.
And here’s a link to a decent write up about the swap.

It’s very easy you just need an adapter harness. Kufatec is the best bet for that.
Plenty...
Sounds like the difference I had going to stage 2 with the 034 HFC. But I believe you’ve been running that for a long time already right? Hopefully just fueling doing what it should with the new sensor and free flowing filter.
It can take a few miles for the ecu to adapt to the changes so most...
That’s quite different to mine. Part number the same besides the letter at the end. Mine is F that is E.
This is the fit on my 2.0T. Part is from 4.2 RS4
I went back through my emails it was in 2015.
These are the part numbers I ordered
Battery panel 8E2 819 447 01C
Battery insert panel 8E2 819 422 A 01C
Side cover 8E0 103 927 F
I paid $220 AUD for the lot. Which works out to about 5 quid at the moment [emoji23]
Yeah I got mine from Audi. Same with the rain tray and battery cover. I can’t remember how much they were as it was about 4 years ago but I remember it was cheaper from Audi direct than anywhere else I could find
The back kind of slips under the rubber seal and it just sits in there. You could make a bracket for the front but unless you’re driving around with the hood up, it’s not going anywhere!
You should get the RS4 cover for the left hand side. And battery cover. Pretty cheap parts at the dealer and will finish that engine bay off nicely. The ecs intake looks tidy
