    B6 Avant rear washer problem

    Yeh I did mine yesterday, ******* metal clips! Didnt take trim completly off tho, just enough to get the pipe back on securely. Managed to get in with pliers and squeeze the clips so the popped out just incase they broke if I forced them too much!

    Traction control light always on 1st thing in the morning

    I had that problem ages ago when my car was still in warrenty, the light would come on and off for no reason. Glasgow Audi replaced the steering angle sensor, think its behind the plastics in about the indicator stalk area. Everything fine since.

    WHICH BRAKED PADS

    I think Glasgow Audi wanted roughly £245 for changing the front brakes of my S4 when it failed the MOT. Told them where to go and did it myself. Incidently they wanted £215 for a new front tyre and £45 to change the number plate bulb.....!!!

    Ah I see, thot it wouldve showed up and it was just a quick job to sort it out! Oh well Ive lived without the DIS directions for over a year now since fitting the RNS-E unit, so not that bothered if its not there and will get round to getting someone to do it at some point! Cheers Craig.

    95 or 98 ron petrol?

    Dont think Ive ever used the 98 stuff in my S4, and it runs fine. The nearest garage that has it is 50 mile away, normal petrol here where I am is 121.9p, which is dear enough.

    Gritters.

    Your lucky theyre out, our useless council workers are going on strike next week, so no gritting, ferry services, binmen, janitors etc etc Just waiting on the 1st accident happening cos there was no gritting on these fine scottish roads.... Maybe I should stop paying my council, road tax...
