mm hopefully it was a one off, the back and forth visits would outweigh the cheaper APR map over the REVO. Did they compensate you or anything?
Think I am more leaning towards GotBoost at this point.
so why weren't you pleased? bad customer service? poor remap?
any reason why you didnt like Indigo? I was originally trying to choose between GotBoost and Indigo before I heard about APR.
So I installed a boost gauge in my car to help keep track of my boost levels before and after a remap (also to help look out for any boost leaks).
Standard now it is pushing only 0.6bar (9psi), is this normal or a little low?
Planning on purchasing a Neuspeed P-Flo CAI to help with the remap...
so just to clarify I would be better off with this: http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/Boost_Gauge_Fitting_Kit_for_20_Litre_FSiT--product--915.html over the MAF sensor adapter?
I have seen this: http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/Boost_gauge_fitting_kit--product--915.html#specifications
but it says only for the 2.0tfsi engine... but it looks like to me the vacuum hose adapter into the intake manifold from the £200 replacement valve kit (which fits both the 2.0tfsi and...
yeh i saw that... although how can you measure the boost BEFORE the turbo at the MAF sensor?

So I recently bought a Stepper Boost Gauge for my A3 1.8TFSI and fitting isn't as simple as I first thought due to the electronic dump valve.
Now from my research I can only see two options:
MAF Sensor Adapter: http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/Boost_Gauge_Adaptor--product--1062.html

Just spent half an hour trying to find it on my 1.8tfsi to install a boost gauge but can't find where on earth the valve is?
Please help as it is driving me mad. I am hoping to eventually change it for a 008p valve too.
i know this is thread is a little old, looking to get one of these and i think i can handle the installation as i have done many headunit swaps in the past. Is it true I will need to code this using vagcom to get it working?
