Hey fellas need some help... I upgraded my 2008 A3 S-Line (manufactured in October of 2007) to the facelift controls last fall. I went to use the AC last weekend and found that the air did not seem to get cool. When I hit the auto button air does flow into the cabin and my defroster does seem to...
Need some help gents- I helped my fiancé purchase a 2009 Audi Q5 two weekends ago and there was a broken sun visor clip. I figured it would be an easy fix- I hopped on ECS Tuning and ordered what I thought was the correct part:

However...
ive researched this as my ring is a bit scratched from the previous owner- i dont think anyone has found a solution. It is two parts as the airbag cover splits in two once deployed. I know some guys have wrapped it in vinyl- i wonder if plastx or something like that would remove the scratches...
thanks for the info- almost positive i read your travels thread on vwvortex. You had to twist the rod to use the front click correct? I like the look of the Stronic but am new to Audis and for simplicity sake was going to go with this...
ahh nice- someone in the same situation- i have a 2008 s line DSG and also want to upgrade to a flat bottom. From what i have read since i have radio controls + paddls etc the steering wheel should be a straight swap- no modifications at all.
The best way by far is via bluetooth. Get a tune2air module on amazon. Plug it into the ipod dock in your glovebox, connected phone via bluetooth, and stream away. **Provided you have music on your phone
My local dealer has big tags that hang from your mirror if you don't want a wash. I am worried I will go there for something and theyll wash my now wrapped A3 which would not be good as I have noticed some products leave a lot of residue.
Tough situation if the dealer is not going to pay for a...
hey fellas- i have a 2008- i am trying to figure out if i could swap over just the chrome or the entire switch. I was able facelift the entire climate control switch which makes me think i could swap over the entire switch
$2500 and it is an excellent job- I am very picky (as imagine we all are) and they did everything very very well. My 08 only had 30k on it but the front end was all chipped and the paint in general was poorly taken care of. The wrap and 3M protection on top should give na atleast 4-5 years
adding the aux input is a good DIY project

I do not have headlight adjustment in my car or rear fogs actually. In the states i dont think we had either of those for the A3- i believe in europe both came standard some years. The backs of both my switches were an exact match- no rewiring needed. If your switch looks exactly the same and...
I am in a similar situation with my 2008- has all the goodies including an ipod cradle in the glovebox but i have an iphone 5s and want to figure out a way to play the music through it. I know that you can add the wiring for an Aux cable but i dont like the look of wires coming out of my dash. I...
Finally facelifted the light switch- when I first attempted the switch the dial would not stay pushed in- seems like a clip had broken. This time with help from Ash I just dropped down the trim below the steering wheel- 3 bolts.
yea im not sure why but here in the US we dont have rear fogs- not a big deal cause the updated switch looks much nicer then my 2008 stock switch. Glad i found this forum- has really helped with info!
