    Be careful winding them back in. You may want to do small turns both ways if they are abit siezed.

    Anyone know of a guide/manual online for our s3's? Currently in the process of removing the head due to coolant on cylinder 3. Ive almost got it off, just need some finer details regarding tensioner pulley and engine mount.

    Rear diff oil change done today. think its knackered though, and its still whinning slightly. Although it could be the haldex whinning :(

    Do a search, theres quite a few posts about it. It is down next to the alternator. Slackening of the alternator fixings so it can pivots forward helps with access.

    I would consider a genuine cts. Does the tempature reach 90? New thermostat would probably help too

    Remove charge pipe and vacuum pipe. And wiggle it out. Bit tight but does come after abit of swearing.

    Hi i looked through the parts numbers thread to try and find the ones im looking for. Im after the 3 rubber seals/grommits that are on the washer bottle. Also a gasket for the plastic housing that the cts bolts onto, then onto the head. hope that makes sense! Cheers ant

    To test, move the arm on the sensor, then turn the lights on. Wait a few seconds and you will hear the motors adjust the height.

    so today ive stripped the belt, tensioner and pas pulley of to replace at the weekend. my pulley has the correct part number! but the belt doesnt sit on it nicely at all!. really not sure whats going on now.
