Hi I've got a 2000 A3 tdi 110hp non pd. The fuel economy is ****** awful 30mpg at best. Have got vag commander but not installed it yet. Car runs fine as far as I can tell no misfires or judders pulls okay for a 110 tdi.
Anyone got any ideas i was thinking cat. It's been serviced a couple of...

Mines doing the same on the off side. It's lowered but nothing major. I've got adjustable link bars but no idea how to set it up. It fine on normal driving but rubs if I corner too eagerly. When I had a look the arb look to sit normally any ideas
Yeah true. Lol. Had a mk3 3door golf tdi years ago that was quite rapid after some work. Bigger turbo, injectors etc etc. Went from 90hp to 167hp on the rollers with loads and loads of torque. Loved it to bits. Mrs wrote it off under a lorry and backwards through a hedge oops. Thank god for...
I've just looked on ebay for leads and they're cheap enough and most have the software as well. Might give it a go. What's the worst that can happen. Given I'm completely crap with computers haha
You could try wd40 on a suspect bush take it for a drive and see if it still creaks. If not that one try another. Process of elimination, might work has done for me in the past
Anyone know where I can get one that's reliable and cheap. I want to remap my 1.9 tdi using a black smoke remap. I want to see what it's like and then return it to standard if I'm not happy or the Mrs doesn't like it. I want power she wants economy haha
I certainly would go from eibach to a cheap coil over setup. They are the top end of the market. I've got cheap coil overs on my a3 and the difference between those and a KW set up that I had on a golf mk3 16v setup is chalk and cheese. They're not bad as such but they don't handle sudden bumps...
Horsepower and economy don't really go together lol. Especially when using ALL the horsepower. Think of it like this if you're giggling like a hyena when get out, then it's cost some fuel money
my dad had 18's as standard on his mondeo he changed to 17's after two punctures from potholes that cost him 500 quid. He reckons it rides better now and hasn't had anymore puntures
17" mk1 tt ronals freshly refurbished on Bridgestone tyres. New top mounts and full service including a pollen filter get me lol on my 1.9 tdi. Then spent hours levelling it all up and raising it so the ****** arb didn't rub on the drive shaft. Still all cured handles better than I could of hope...
Definitely polycarbonate you can cut it with a jigsaw router etc... drill any fixing holes slightly oversize as the plastic contracts and expands. And sicoflex to bond it. Used it my old rally car to great effect. 4 mm should follow the curves quite well
