From what I've seen I can get a replacement clutch bearings and fit without having to disconnect the aircon itself...

Just did mine- ordered the springs direct-a massive £3 something, Unscrewed the ends and slipped them on- literally a 5 minute job. I did wrap some tape around one end to stop it bouncing around, but I'll sort a fix for that during the week.

Ive got one being delivered on Wednesday from China. /had a deal flash up on AliExpress and was too good not to. Plan to instal in the next couple of weekends (time dependant) so will try and do a full write up/instal guide if anyone is interested.
