    Compressor solenoid valve fault help

    I have a 2005 a4 and the air con has stopped working I've been to get it re gased and that's not the problem. Fault code says: 01232 - variable A/C compressor solenoid valve - short circuit to positive or open circuit - permanent Any help would be appreciated thanks.
