Just an update to this... Despite no faults showing with VCDS my rear left level sensor had snapped, and was causing the issue. Sensors aren't cheap at around £100 each (theres 4 on cars with adaptive lights!)
I noticed when driving to work this morning my headlights were aimed too high (both sides)
They are adaptive Bi-xenons. Pulled over and turned car off and on again, lights did the usual left to right dance and up and down movement, but seemed to point up too high?
Sounds to me like a level...
One of my pins sheared like this. I soaked it in plus gas overnight and managed to manipulate it out. They are made of alloy, so they corrode like mad imside the cast steel caliper. A bad design really.
Edit just to say they (the pins, are held in place by spring clips, that fit around the...
Any decent independent should be able to remove component protection. My local indy is a fully licensed ODIS user, and can do jobs that require communicating with the Audi plants direct, just like the Audi main dealer does.

Sounds like you have had the wrong back boxes fitted to your system. Who supplied/fitted It?
If there's 2 separate pipes exiting the back box each side it's the full 'drone' system. If it is a 'Y' pipe coming from the box, then this is the correct 'no drone' back boxes.
Mine had the wrong one...
Recently fitted a Genuine black Edition S4 grille and fog surrounds, also had the roof bars wrapped in gloss black, and the window surrounds. I didn't want the front splitter and rear valance to feel left out, so had those wrapped too! And finally I had the silver instrument surround done in...
The outside air temp sensor was attached via a removable clip to the inside of the grille on my (2009) car, so maybe they changed the design for the later cars?
So I removed my front bumper to change the grille, and for those with the active cruise control radar module, this is attached to the front structure of the car and therefore doesn't interfere with the bumper in any way! The same can be said for the headlight washer system - Its all contained in...
Still waiting to hear from a wrap place for a price, but I've been quoted £300 to paint the roof rails and window surrounds. Need to add fog light bezels to that list lol!
I'm thinking of getting my window surrounds and roof rails wrapped in black, those of you that have had this done, what price did you pay,and are you happy with the results?
Never heard anything like that before? I work in a car plant and the freshly glazed cars are sometimes road tested, and water tested straight after ( parked under a high pressure drench shower to mimic a monsoon) the jets are right around the car including underneath.
They also go through an...
I have just checked out this car, using HPI Trade. Yes it is an SE (a poorly specced one at that) was a Cat C insurance write off (30/3/16) It is down as being black in colour. CAP value the car at £3900 not taking into account the insurance loss. Glass's value it about the same.
I wouldn't...
Speaking from experience I would leave the car keys in a easy to find place. When 3 men break into your house and come looking for the keys, you want them to stay downstairs away from your family! Cars are replaceable, but family aren't!
