the rear springs tend to sag , ive just fitted this weekend a set of eibach springs which are 35mm lower , the front went lower and the back did not even change as the rear springs had sagged by about 35mm

i bought my a4 brd with the balance shaft failure , also chewed up its gears so i replaced the pump with the 1.9tdi small pump chain type , had no problems since and there is actually a conversion kit available online to do this now

I am very glad you have wrote this post as i have the identicle problem , mine has just had brand new turbo and wastgate actuator put on and is also remapped , unfortunatly i never drove the car before the turbo had blown as i bought the car broke so i dont know if the lag was there before...
