Hi mate, haven’t had it scanned with VCDS yet but on Carista etc there are no fault codes? Get the odd Bank 1 to lean but that’s only now and then. If I take the car out now while it’s cold will be mint when it warms up it starts to hesitate no EMl or fault codes?

Thank for the Reply. Had it compression tested 140 on all cylinders and then a smoke test, smoke coming from oil filler cap and also inlet manifold area. On inspection small pipe that comes off the head down to the inlet manifold had broken off. Repaired and put back on and now car is perfect :)...

Hi guys thanks for the help, took them all out and checked all the same size, cleaned all the holes out incase they didn’t seat properly and all ok, sounds like it’s coming from the back on the engine as stand infront of the car you can’t hear it, stand by the drivers door you can??? Very strange

Thanks for the reply but nothing was removed bar the engine cover as the plugs are smack bang infront of you. I didn’t bit torque then down no, I done them up and then nipped them tight?

They are genuine Bosch bought from my local motor factors, but you reckon changing them back could help the problem?

Yes thats what i read. Performance is still fine, And considering there is no smoke on start up or on idle i cant see it being engine side. Only smokes when the car is moving which to me indicates turbo seals. I could be wrong but that's my look on it. Going to check the intercooler pipes later...
