UPDATE - so i've had my car back 2 days and the light is back on with the same fault code. I've had the car 1 month and it's already been back twice, this will be the 3rd time but now i'm outwith my 30 day warranty. I'm going to call and chance my luck.

See that's what I thought. Why would they then say that plugs and HT leads to be replaced? I will note I know nothing about cars.

Worth getting it scanned to see if any codes appear. It seems to be quite a common issue. I had it on mine recently and it was linked to the ignition coil, so I had the coil pack and spark plugs replaced. There are a few threads on here about it, however, that's once knowing the fault codes...
