I've seen most people comment that the change in wheel size is the biggest factor in ride comfort rather than changing springs and dampers. Looks mean as hell though so it's worth it!

Know it well! Scottish Government seem to be finally pumping money in to fixing roads so a lot of resurfacing has started in Edinburgh which is nice - the street we've just bought a house in has been totally resurfaced which is ace!

It's actually perfectly usable. I commute to work in the centre of Edinburgh where the roads are terrible and don't have any issues - just need to avoid large potholes as you usually would anyway.
