Did you manage to get it fixed? Mines just done exactly the same as yours. Thought my little boy had jammed something in it but no the regulator wire has worn. I've ordered the part from autodoc and hopefully it's an easy ish fix.

Yes I've never seen the wheels before. They definitely have more of a concave to them which I prefer. I'll try and get a side on pic when the light is better.

I gave mine loads of coats of plastidip. I don't think it needs to look amazing, just needs to be dark so it doesn;t stand out.

You did put a link in a previous comment, is that the one to buy for the S3 8p? Is it a direct fit or does it attach to part of the original dv?

I've never had it before though. Only started the other day and the car doesn't seem to hold boost and seems under powered.

I'm getting the same as this. This guy has changed to the rev D DV but still seems to be getting compressor surge. If you watch the video it's at 16secs and 44secs. He has a mk 5 golf gti APR KO4 setup.

Does this fix compressor surge? I have no other problems. The sound I can hear isn't very loud at all but like the boost is fluttering/hissing.

Am I right in thinking rev G has a diaphragm and rev D has the piston?

Which is the best rev D or G? And where's best to get it from, the stealers?

My car is stage 2 APR. Over the last few weeks I've noticed I have turbo flutter when lifting off the throttle but very intermittently. Today at I'd say peak boost although I have no boost gauge there is a very fast flutter/hissing noise which sounds boost related and a slight drop in power...

It would run fine I had my powervalve on for about a month before getting it mapped and never had a light come up. Ran as normal too. You may find certain exhausts throw up lights more than others though.

I'm guessing the one on the right is cornflower blue but I also think the one on the left is Sprint blue, not sepang blue.

I have the full turbo back with sports cat powervalve and it is worth saving for. They do a full time sports system without the powervalve too. Maybe ring up and see if they will do a cat back if theres a few people after one.
