If like to remove the chrome trims on my A3. from what I gather you twist and tug at the trim until it comes away from the back box. mine are not for budging at all any tips to ease removal?

Car is 1012 A3 1.4 tfsi (model 8v) as you can see in my images the hose is deteriorating and id like to replace it before it fails out on the road. right side of engine (from front) Opposite end of hose

Looking from the front, its on the right hand side of the engine bay. This rubber hose/pipe is starting to deteriorate... so planning preventative maintenance and swapping it out. So that i may order the hose , Does anybody know what the component is please?

Hmmm, I've always done my own servicing, but after watching a few youtube videos it appeared swapping out plugs can be a pig of a job on this engine. that was the reason I initially approached Awesome GTI. As it happened, it turned out to be the case with my car. The mechanic who fitted them...

With a break in the weather (at last) I spent a few hours on the car today. I'm detailing it in sections as time and weather permits. Today it was the roof and nearside rear quarter and doors turn to get some TLC . The Car is booked in for plugs on Thursday and I'll follow up with filter service...

I occasionally get the same fault code (xenon’s) all lights inside and out are working. I found it doesn’t happen if from off I switch to side lights, leave couple seconds then switch to headlights. Switching from off to headlights in one motion will activate the fault code. The fault code...

Essentially, it’s the same design from back in the days of the mk2 golf gti. Subsequently, Every golf since has the same issue. My A3 8p went through a couple of callipers during my ownership. Excessive brake dust on the offending wheel and a “hot” brake disc after a run are the tell tail signs.

Applied for a quote to supply and fit plugs to my A3, 1.4 TFSI. After a few days, i received a reply... plugs 4 X NGK PZKER7B8EGS £80.80 PLUS vat = £96.96 LABOUR TO FIT PLUGS £61.68 PLUS VAT = £74.25 I dont have an issue with the labour ... i believe they can be a ******* to fit and...
