My audi dealer (Perth Audi) sent me a recorded delivery letter asking me to phone them to book my car in as there was a recall on it. It was in today and the service department told me there had been a few cases where these parts had been coming loose and Audi are changing the adhesive used

Just had my car in for a recall to remove and re-glue (with alternative glue) the two aero strips which run down the side of the rear windscreen (mines are gloss black). Has anyone else had this done yet? I am not sure if its for avant only.

I have bought most of my Audi's from Perth (my local) and they usually tell me to go to and get quotes elsewhere and they will beat them. Plus the service is second to none.

Mines was doing the same and after the dealer replaced the whole arm ( I already had the rubber replaced) it has been OK. I checked the a3 in the showroom and it had no play in the arm compared to mine.

Your order should be unaffected by the price increase since you ordered before then. I know that my local Audi dealer (Perth) are honouring the pre increase price across the range if an order is placed before October. Good luck

Agree with mcaudi - i also have the 1.4 petrol and the quietness and smoothness of the engine is remarkable. If you opt for it you won't be disappointed.

Just got my docs in from dvla and confirmed a Friday collection! It's going to be a very long 4 days!

Just been informed by my salesman that my car is in! That was ****** fast since it was bw26! Just waiting on the dvla to sort out my reg docs then this torturous wait will be over!

I think you could get your car for then it just depends on how long it waits at Emden. I'm hoping I get my car the week before you and it was built the week before yours. Just got to keep everything crossed!

I had a really annoying squeek from my a3 8p and it turned out it was coming from the side bolster part of the seat (leather) and the plastic trim on the edge of the seat - I wedged in a small piece of rubber and cured it.

I ordered my car in january and is bw 26 - at least it will have the 2015 spec! Dealer reckons is hopeful i'll have the car mid july! We're almost there all you bw 26ers!

I received no freebies on my previous two audi's and i am a private buyer - although they were bought from the same group. I always have had freebies from my local dealer though.
