C5 allroad wheels are et25 which is fairly low you will need some big adaptors to get the X5 wheels to fit and as said above allroad is 5x112 and BMW is 5x120

Have you got Xenons or not at the moment?
I have the same car and have tried all sorts to get better light. I have finally bitten the bullet and have rebuilt two complete units with new bi xenon projectors and new xenon bulbs I am hoping this will fix it.

The OBD not reading could be a fuse I had this on my A2 it was the coil wiring shorting and the OBD port was on the same fuse.

As for stereo mine had the same single din unit that yours had when I first got it.
I changed it over to a double din unit which did involve a bit if work but nothing to stressful. I have a Pioneer Appradio in there with reverse camera...
