Depends on the miles and also some people have been suckered by the dealer with free oil top ups. If there's no record of it being fixed, I would not touch it without a warranty. Plenty of other reasons to get a full warranty since stuff breaks all the time even on low miles ones.

Hi.
Selling a set of 4 Kolbenschmidt pistons for standard bore and stock rods: 40247600. They have the revised, taller rings.
Also have a set of head bolts.
Bought from autoteiledirekt.de (autodoc).
They seem to cost £350 + £21 new, I would like £275 for all of them (ONO).
Also have a...
The fuel pressure regulator is inside the fuel filter. That's why you need a good one. It could be finnicky because of the Bosch instead of an original Audi filter, but not to the point where it won't start.
Not sure if these would be the symptoms, but fuel pumps tend to go bad and sometimes...
Here's the part numbers for a 2004 V8:
Look them up on a parts supplier. I think https://www.autodoc.co.uk/ ships from within the UK. For EU warehouses, the list is endless.
Get the original part from the dealer, it's under £15 for both the stick and funnel. I got some aftermarket vaico or topran crap and the level was off.
Too late for waxoyl now, isn't it :(
If I'm getting this right - you applied the converter, then wire-brushed it off? Why not just go at the rust without the converter?
The stuff he's using supposedly turns into a rock hard surface you can't penetrate... Massive doubts about what we're doing tbh.
Have you got any pics with the relocated center bearing support? doing this right now and we thought about bolting the propshaft up, seeing where the support touches the frame and bolting it with screws from inside the cabin to avoid welding.
Mate's B7 looks like this:
Scratched it off and everything left seems to be surface rust. He wants to use a rust converter.
I personally think that if the converter doesn't penetrate all the way to the base of the rust, any rust under it will be 10 times more harmful.
Any...
There's 2 variants (at least). A UK (RHD) one I had was equipped with the HER code.
A Germany (LHD) car I know has the GDZ code.
Both cars are quattro.
I want to replace the timing chain tensioner and chain (058109088k). I normally buy critical parts from Audi, but they want €600 for the tensioner and chain. The SWAG or Febi kits are €250.
What's everyone used on their cars?
