Looking into getting a 3.2 quattro s-tronic.. What's the fuel consumption like and what fuel does it take? Any common problems?

I was filling up with a jerry can and it did it 3 times when i was actually putting the fuel in it, only put 5 litres in.

I've had a few sensors replaced to try repair it by a friend but it hasn't totally cured the problem and i would rather another car. Been offered 1k which i just laugh at haha. I seen on autotrader the same model is around £3500-£4000 like you said but i was expecting it to be like £2000!

And without service history? I want to sell it with the fault as i know nothing about cars and do not have the money to fix it at the moment, best bet to stick it on ebay with a reserve? 6 months tax mot until march

Best thing to do would be to switch parts with a car thats exactly the same.

i haven't had any luck yet mate, sucks. Nobody on here seems to know what it is.

it's not that bad running just shakes a bit while running, more than most cars i've sat in though.

usually takes a few seconds to start from cold which is pretty normal?

i would have no idea how to check these myself. Would the symptoms of not starting when engine temperature be from this?

Also when it came up with the cam sensor fault it would not clear, that's why i replaced it again because i thought the sensor may have been faulty. I think maybe the ecu is fried?

I don't own vagcom so i can't test for exact codes and i also have limited knowledge as this is my first car.
