Go to Audi and get a genuine bulb...they will probably make you a coffee and even fit it for free if they are a decent dealer. Cured mine and several others this way! Don't know why but only the genuine ones stay working!!

Not seen any modern kits....think most go for the simple water spray on hot inter cooler kits. Simple and reasonably effective they work well in warmer climates where I have seen them quite a bit.
