Ok so I've replaced the actuator
Here's the part numbers
Left lock actuator 8J2837015a £121.74
Bowden cable 4h0837099 £10.12
Don't do what I did and buy the one off eBay using part number 8J1837015A. Yes this is for left door Audi A4 B8, all fits except for the electric connector.
hi all, could do with some help on this.
Front passenger is not opening via remote. So we was unlocking from the handle on the inside.
However I'm unable to do this now as it won't open from the inside either.
I think it's now stuck in a deadlock mode.
What's everyone thoughts on this. Part...

I've got the kids a TV headrest kit which works from the rear centre armrest 12v socket.

Will be trawling the forums for how too's, advice and mods.
The battery went dead in the remote before Xmas and was replaced with a Duracell so it's all flashing and dancing. Have tried re syncing using vagcom. Indicators flash to acknowledge sync but still refuses to work.
I believe the switch module in the door might be a bit faulty. When locking the...
Can anyone point me in the right direction. I've listed just the faults rather the entire list. I gathered the ABS sensor is just a replacement sensor on the rear hub. But the rest are abit of a baffle.
Cheers

Okay, update to this. Been to autotechnica at weekend to have a couple of bits sorted and I asked if they could put their VCDS in and had the same result as me.
Unable to communicate to 'Instruments' & 'Immobiliser'.
I don't think they did. they was only suppose to be changing the cruise control stalk. Looking at the stalk now. it certainly is not a new stalk.
Im just glad to have my car back.
Cruise is not working after having the car for 4 days. I've been stuck at my inlaws as I live 65 miles away from the dealer Garage we got the car from. Inlaws are only 12 miles away.
Im taking it to my local garage next week for some bits and pieces to be sorted. It also happens to be a Audi Specialist Revo garage so will ask if they get anything up?
Im planning on getting VCDs after xmas once the kids presents are out of the way first. NHN are you still a VCDs dealer?
No. But has been reading before. Just kinda a co-incidence since coming back after 4 days at a garage who had to reset coding a and basic settings of traction sensors, steering sensors and column module and deactivate cruse control

Just got the car back after 4 days.
Work done consists of;

Reactivate cruise control.
Just realised when pulling up at home the rear wiper arm is not working
