hit a greasy damp roundabout today at quick entry speed, perhaps a bit too fast. the PA4's dealt with it like a dry tyre. no slip, grip under power and no dramas. also i can sense the braking performance has been nicely improved. recommended !

my new michelin PA4's are excellent. even with release compound, the S3 is transformed in the cold greasy wet conditions up here in NE Scotland. money very well spent. bizzarely, they are also quieter than the conti SC 5's OEM.

I gave all options. I'd get rid of advanced key first, never the LEDs or SSS.

I cycle to work, 45km each day. The winters Will be superb combined with the haldex and greasy wet miserable winter upcoming when we need the car. Why spend £40k on a car and not benefit from the correct rubber for the conditions ?

we bought the S3 FOR the 4wd capability to be used IN CONJUNCTION with winter tyres. there's little chance of not getting to the ski hills with winters on, but chances are without it's more treacherous. in addition, many a time we've been skiing and it's dumped it down hard, the hill gets closed...

I've just ordered a set of 4 in 225/40/18 w xl variant from costco. £650 for the set fitted. Looking forward to giving them a test up to glenshee and cairngorm shortly, once we get some good snow cover.

My S3's keyless battery lasted 6 months. Easy replacement. Car only gets used a few times a week too.

I'm with Scott although I am really impressed with my s3 SB led option. I paid the lesser price as I had comfort pack selected as well. As the car is a keeper we speccd it out quite elaborately and the led lights were consequent to that approach!

One option I would drop is advanced key. It's great getting in and out but the sensors lock and unlock the car continually when washing it and due to the start stop function, the car sometimes starts when you press stop ! I know the work a rounds but it is a ****** nuisance. It also bleeps from...
