So the car showed up two fault codes on VCDS - both touch sensors, apparently. I have no idea what that could be - particularly given that my car doesn't have keyless entry. Any ideas what could have caused this fault?

Thanks for that - I'll get him to give it a scan over the weekend, hopefully. You know how cryptic the fault readings can be - it's like the equivalent of saying that the kettle isn't boiling, but what it doesn't tell you is that there's no water in the kettle! Total headache!

I've got a mate who can get access to VCDS to hopefully scan it for faults. Hopefully that can identify the problem but you know what that's like, it doesn't always give you the source of the problem! Have you heard of this type of fault before?
