Evening all, so the time has come for the s3 to go. End of pcp. When I picked it up 4 years ago the paperwork came with a clear plastic tag which I think had a number on it. Does anyone have any idea of what I’m talking about? Lol. Also what is it for? I can’t find it anywhere Thanks [emoji3]

Ok I've got one coming and just found out there is two. Which makes sense. One is located on the top and one one the front right of the engine. Top is easy to change so I'm hoping it's that one! The other will involve removing quite a bit. Has anyone got any experience with this?

Hi all, Had the engine light come on and a friend has plugged it in to find the cam shaft sensor to be the problem. Found it in the engine (top right) and it's easy to change. Where would be the best place to find one? Loads on eBay but would rather not go down that route. I'm sure I could...

Thought I'd put a pic up in case anyone has the same trouble. This is with the handle pulled and when released the rubber on the cable pinched itself stopping the handle returning back making it feel like it was broken.

I've done the job now, thankfully nothing broken, just a kinked cable that wasn't retuning fully. Very glad that's all it was!!! I'm not sure what the hook tool is meant to do from the link you sent but I didn't need it. Thanks for the help, I can sleep much easier now!

So I've had time to look and it is dead. Strangely it opens once you have opened it once after unlocking but not before so I guess it's something to do with the dead locks. Any idea on how to get the handle off? I'm stumped...

Fingers crossed it starts working again but it's been about 4 hours and an hour drive and still no difference.

So my lovely wife pulled handle to hard on a frozen door this morning now it won't open using the external handle. Any ideas on what is likely to be broken? Should be able to do it myself but where is best to get parts? Straight from Audi? Thanks in advance.
