TBH guys i know it seems a bit far fetched but i got +70Hp on a 1.8T with a Stg 1 and home made modified airbox and have 3 dyno runs to prove it so it could be legit. Craig

oh and i love my revo map, did what it said on the tin + 20Hp & lbft more. all in all i gained 70hp & 80lbft from a stg 1 with just a modified airbox and panel filter

Ive disconnected my battery probably a dozen times since my remap sometimes as long as 8 hrs and the maps still there, i was told it will never lose the map, turn your computer off and it doesnt lose your pictures does it? Craig

well after going to view a W plate 2.8 quattro today it was sold as soon as i saw it (though i tried not to show the dealer i loved it) Immaculate full black leather, the nice looking headlights, cam done and in lovely silver....very happy :-) Craig

Just been offered a straight swap on a very good condition one of these for my A6. Are there any massive issues i should look out for on these?, its a saloon, 120k, mint inside and out apparently with black leather on a "W" plate. I take it there are not many tuning options for these bar...

oh and what exact parts do i need for the full setup (mine off - new on)

As my car doesnt seem to want to leave me (sell) then i may keep it but even with uprated discs and pads it struggles with the extra 70Hp & 80lbft and really is quite scary breaking down from 100+ on track. I saw another post from a member and he was told to use hp2 brakes. Please could someone...

Are these sort after/wanted. I have a set on my A6 after finding out all my RS6 wheels were pooped but the offset (+43) looks hideous. So before i go and spacer the hell out of them i may trade/swap for a wheel that suits my car better. I have 5 off them, 17X7.5J ;-)

oh thats crap news :-/... still, when i get a bad month (no overtime) i look into free mods or even home made jobbies, like my current oil catch can project, i really dont see the need in spending £50 plus on what is just a container to catch some oil.

I do stick it in 5th as soon as i hit 30mph, i drive like a grandad most of the time as i do 60 miles a day to work and back, my foot only turns to lead when im bored or a nipper thinks he can push me around :racer:

Few picks of the brakes (looking tiny in the needing re-furb 19's) and a little (actually large) oil catch tank donated from a cossie and modified...ALOT by me.

A6 1.8T remapped to 220 HP ....got 43mpg on my 30mile trip home from work friday :-) very happy with that
