Well, thats just more poor advice from the dealer then, although to be fair, it was perfectly drive-able, so im unsure as to whether Audi would have "recovered" it anyway? I'll add it to my complaint though, am probably up to about 15 points now, so another wont harm lol.

Absolutely no idea. I was told back in June not to bother getting it recovered & just to bring it into the dealer. Perhaps it would have been different the other way round? Soooo frustrating, especially to someone with an element of mechanical ability such as myself.

Nope, nothing whatsoever, i probably wouldn't mind so much if i was swanning around in an S3 or similar!! Tiny bit of blue smoke on cold start, so diagnosed as a failure of one of the valve stem seals - at such low miles (38k) the dealer thinks it must have been a manufacturing fault. Imho not...

Last update on mine stopped the car starting with the exhaust in dynamic, even if the car is always in individual with the exhaust set to dynamic. Its a tad irritating as i now have to scroll back through the modes every time i start the car! The problem is, they wont tell you what they change...

In terms of ride quality, even in comfort, the mag ride is pretty crashy, there is a noticeable difference between settings however. Compared to the EDC on my old e90 M3, or the PASM on the Boxster, it is really quite poor to be brutally honest, simply not in the same league from a damping...

If you switch between comfort & dynamic whilst moving along a bumpy road, the difference should instantly be noticeable! Easiest way to tell if you have mag ride without doing that is simply drive over some speedbumps, if it rattles like the top mounts are done up finger tight, you have it...

Blackcircles are online, they use your local tyre fitter, so ATS normally. Might be worthwhile checking Camskill/Oponeo/Tyreleader/Mytyres/Micheldever/Protyre etc as well :smiley:
