    ESP + ABS lights on

Sorry for the late response, only recently got round to sorting the issue as I replaced my brake discs and pads at the same time. Replaced the electrical sensor and the fault was still apparent, spoke to 2 independent VW/Audi garages and both immediately said the fault was the wheel bearing, as...

How many of us are bikers?? Show off your wheels.......

Here's my latest bike, although had it for almost 2 years. Great bike and brilliant around a track, done a few mods over winter: quickshifter, 520 chain and sprockets conversion (-1F,+1R), hyperpro steering damper, upgraded to SBS race sintered front pads. All ready for a track day at Donington...

Thanks for replying. Would that be an easy replacement? Would I need any specialist tools?

    ESP + ABS lights on

Hi all, Just after some advice, my ESP and ABS lights are on. To start with it was intermittent, it would come on when I started the engine and after a minute or so they would go out but now they are on permanently. I've had it plugged into a diagnostics, 2 fault codes come up. 290 - Wheel...

How hard is it to get approved for Audi Finance

I agree with the above, as the car is secured against the finance, it makes it much easier, I got turned down for a loan a couple of weeks ago with my bank but got accepted for Audi finance this week and now have my new motor sat on the drive, good times :-)

    180k mils on a 2009?

Having just bought mine from an Audi dealer (only 41k on the clock) they had a few models in that had 60k+, not just the one dealer either, various official Audi dealers. It's guaranteed to be motorway miles so probably quite solid, although I personally wouldn't buy a car with that amount on it

    Bought one

Hi all, I posted an intro a while ago but finally took the plunge on Friday and bought a 2007 A3 2.0 TDI (170 PS) S-Line in Avus Silver, has only 41k on the clock and has full leather seats and Audi 18 inch 20-spoke alloys. As soon as I test drove it I knew it was going to be mine, awesome...

Audi A3 1.9 vs 2.0 for fuel economy (around 2004-2006)

Ah i see, i was too optimistic :hi: I'd be quite happy TBH with 50 MPG, my current steed (1.8P Mondeo) only returns 35 MPG at 75-80 MPH and a lot worse around town

How many of us are bikers?? Show off your wheels.......

TBH i don't think there is room for error on that sort of bike, an R6 is basically a track bike in standard form. Might be worth having a more 'forgiving' bike for a year just to get used to the acceleration but then again you wouldn't be the first that's jumped staight on a supersport bike...

How many of us are bikers?? Show off your wheels.......

Lovely Speed R you got there, it was the brutal looks of the Speed that got me into the Street Triple R, with me being a new rider this year insurance was much cheaper on the Street. Wouldn't mind a Speed TBH as i think they have a great presence about them, but a sportsbike is next on the list...

How many of us are bikers?? Show off your wheels.......

I hope your going to retake your MOD 2, i find it odd that they can fail you for that reason, after all, the whole of the road is there to be used. Reference the R6, i'd say go for it, just remember that it'll only go as fast as you want it to. I only passed my test in April of this year and...

Audi A3 1.9 vs 2.0 for fuel economy (around 2004-2006)

I'm also thinking about the 1.9 or 2.0 TDI, but I'm more inclined to the 140 BHP as don't want anything too slow, I do a journey of 410 miles in one go 4 times a month and sit at around 80 MPH on cruise control, I'm hoping for 60-65 MPG from this, is this achievable on this long journey?

    Hi all, New in

Hi all, My names Marc and I'm from Grimsby. I currently don't own an Audi but looking to upgrade to one, currently driving a 2005 (55) Ford Mondeo 1.8P LX which is costing a small fortune in fuel every month (do about 1.8k miles a month due to work), I only get 35 MPG on the motorway sitting...
