Totally agree, I find it strange that any paintwork is not added to the car history. Although it isn't service history it could be a major factor in buying a used car. I haven't actually checked through my cars service history but will do and see if there are any paintwork repairs.

I have an A8 with full Audi Service History, I spoke to someone today who thinks one of the panels may have been resprayed. My question is, if the panel has been resprayed, should this be documented somewhere within the service history? Thanks,

Does anyone know roughly the difference in mpg when leaving the ac on constantly? My A8 is prone to some steamy windows, this only happens when its wet outside and i have read that leaving the air con on and at automatic should resolve this issue.. Thanks,

Just a general question, does anyone know why some audi's have straight exhaust pipes and some having the ends pointing down? My car is an 09 a8 with straight pipes, i initially thought it was a change to the facelift model around 08, but i have just seen an 09 a8 with down pointing exhaust ends..

Ha, seen my brother yesterday. On hearing the rattle he went and got a 2inch square bit of rubber. This was lodged between the windscreen and the front speaker grill. Noise sorted! Fair play to the guys from Lister Audi in Worcester, they had arranged a replacement car for me and were having it...

This evening i parked my Audi and then noticed a small but constant drip from the engine tray under the front of the car. The water isn't anti freeze as its tasteless. I was thinking it was to do with the heater workings although i don't use my air con.. Any ideas?

Just checked my Audi approved multi point approved check certificate. Number 137, check for interior trim rattles! Well either the engineer was stone deaf or this hasnt been done, although a tick is in the box. Also, Number 106, check and adjust tyre pressures..NSF was at 42 psi, OSF was 32...
