My 2.0tdi has the 1.9 oil pump and it runs fine there is a slight judder on tickover but it don't bother me
the egr can and does cause problems on the 2.0tdi but most can be solved by giving it a clean
1 try disconnecting the maf and take the car for a drive see if it changes anything if it doesn't it could be the maf
2 check if you have a vacuum at the turbo actuator by removing the small pipe while the engine is running
If the egr cooler is at fault it will normally clear after the initial start up once the engine has got warm, it will then reappear once the car has been stood. You will also notice some coolant loss
Ive just ordered and fitted led number plate lights that don't show an error on the dash they cost me £12.99 for the pair off Ebay if you would like the link drop me a pm (im not sure if links are allowed)
The only problem I can see is if your sat at home with the key in your pocket with the car parked close by and you catch the button the boot would open without your knowledge
Ask the seller for the name and address of the previous keeper and send them a letter or try and get there phone number you could also ask to view the log book and get the details off it yourself
I seem to remember reading about Audi replacing the dipstick on one model as they where having problems with oil lights. iirc the car needed more oil to make the light go out I will try and find the link for you but will send it via pm as its from another audi forum
