I had the car put on diagnostic and comes up as misfire in cylinder 4. p0304 or something along those lines. Could this mean injector? or injector harness? Put into high gear at even 14-1500 revs the car shakes hard!

No difference when pressing clutch. No rattle or play from flywheel when cutting car out. Judder at low revs when accelerating. Friend thinks it may be injector harness?

Ordered gear driven oil pump. Will be doing whole timing belt kit aswell while it's all being done.

Can someone recommend a place I can get the chain and tensioner etc from? Finding it difficult as it's discontinued apparently. Spoke to a couple of places and they only stock the blanace shaft etc for gear driven conversion and this costs £895+vat!!

Have a fuel filter and air filter ready so will be changing that first, I'm doubting it will make a difference but can never guess these things. Then will have the oil pump examined. Appreciate that mate. Will try and explain this to mechanic. Won't be using Audi as I suspect the bill would easily be over £1k no problem! Had a few b6 a4s and biggest problem was DMF which was easy to diagnose.

Would there be a difference in sound or drive if the whole fuel pump was about to conk out?
