Try using www.fuelly.com, it will give you your mpg. Very simple and a lot more accurate than the on board computer.
Definitely not linear, in my 07 Sline A3 TDI I will get about 180 miles out of the first quarter tank, then it drops of a bit each subsequent quarter tank. I get around 600...

Well finally got around to giving my A3 quick clean today; the first time since November.
Used the two bucket method with Born To Be Mild.
No further decontamination as there was no time.
Then 1 coat with Car ***** wax.
It beaded pretty good, well I think so.
Try Rick at Unicorn Motor Development they are an ASN site sponsor, cheaper and included Stage 1 map and EGR delete. Can't fault the service, all done while I waited. They're in Stockport Manchester.
Well worth the journey.

Thanks Bruce, I'd not noticed the 'Module Coding' had been recorded in the AutoScan Logs.
Have a look at these links.

Checked the exterior lights...

If you have VCDS scroll through the engine measuring blocks until you find the one for oil px. Take it for a drive if you're happy to and log that measuring block. It will show if there is actual loss of oil pressure.
It does sound as though something is blocked though. I believe this is a...
Apparently they put pry the window out a bit that puts it under tension making it easier to smash.
This is what I came back to my car and found, the Sunday before Christmas.
F1s get my vote good dry and wet tyre. Removed them after 2years and 17500 miles as I'm getting my wheels refurbished, they still had about 3mm of tread on them.
